THE STORYTELLING THURSDAYS – Saturnino Ischia

From November 20 to December 18, every Thursday, Saturnino Restaurant celebrates the culinary memory of Ischia, told by those who keep its tradition alive.
A journey through food and storytelling, featuring special guests who will share dishes, experiences, and emotions tied to the island’s taste and culture.

“The Hands of Women” with Luciana Cervera from Taverna di Antonio

Taverna Antonio guest of Ristorante Saturnino
There is a memory that is not written in books but is kneaded every day, with flour, oil, and time.
It is the hands of women that safeguard it — hands that have raised generations, kneaded bread and dreams, and shaped the cuisine we today call 'tradition.'
For the first event of the "Thursday Tales," Ristorante Saturnino opens its doors to Taverna Antonio, one of Ischia’s first restaurants, now led by a third-generation chef-owner.
A woman who carries with her the light and precious weight of family heritage and transforms it into dishes that smell of history, sea, and home.
On Thursday, November 20th, her recipes meet mine — two kitchens, two voices, two stories that mix and converse, celebrating the gentle strength of the hands that nourish, create, and pass on tradition.
